The bakery at Sophia’s on Market uses only the freshest quality ingredients available such as: real butter, cream, the finest chocolate, and nuts. Everything is made from scratch and none of our products contain any preservatives. Our pastry chefs have been highly trained in various types of baking and use their knowledge to produce the finest products for our customers. The pastry chefs at Sophia’s on Market are constantly coming up with new flavors and ideas to suit our customer’s needs. Desserts

We always feature regular items that can be picked up every day at both our locations.

Here is a description of a few of these:
Chocolate Mousse cake: A rich moist chocolate cake filled with a
creamy decadent mousse and covered in a buttery chocolate buttercream.

Coconut tarts: A crispy flaky crust filled with a smooth and creamy
coconut custard and topped with fresh whipped cream and toasted coconut.

Other things offered daily include: cupcakes, mini desserts, eclairs,
crème puffs, oreo pie, and peanut butter pie.

Pastries

Breakfast is also another great way to enjoy a Sophia’s on Market treat.

Some of our pastries offered daily include:
Bear claws: A buttery almond filling inside of a sweet delectable Danish dough that is topped with icing and almonds.

Mini sticky bun: Our sweet dough is rubbed with a sweet buttery filling and rolled up. It is then baked off and topped with a sweet sticky syrup

We also offer daily a variety of muffins, coffeecakes, Danish, and scones to enjoy.

Cookies

All of our cookies are homemade and made fresh to ensure the best quality.
We offer miniature as well as large cookies daily at our restaurant.
Our cookies may also be ordered as trays or as cookie and brownie platters for your next event.

A few of our most popular varieties include:
Jumble cookies: A buttery cookie filled with chocolate chips, pecans,
almonds, and raisins and baked to perfection.

Russian tea cookies: A flaky buttery cookie containing chopped pecans
and topped with powdered sugar.

Amaretto cookies: A macaroon style cookie made from fluffy egg whites
and sugar. It is enhanced with almonds and almond flavoring and baked until crispy and delicious.

Other varieties include: crackle, coconut macaroons, peanut butter cup, grammy’s, and many more.

Breads

The bread at Sophia’s on Market is all made on premises by our skilled bakers.
Not only can you enjoy the fresh bread baked daily as your favorite sandwich
we also offer it for sale daily at our restaurant.

Some of our most popular breads include:
Greek sweet: Sophia’s own recipe brought over from Greece. A sweet rich bread with a crunchy sesame seed topping. Great for sandwiches or as a dinner bread. Offered as rolls, dinner rolls, and loaves.

Multigrain and regular Ciabatta: Our bread baker’s own original recipe.
The airiest bread you will ever taste with a crusty flaky crust. Great as toast
to soak up butter or as a sandwich to hold all of your mayonnaise in.

Our professional pastry chefs enjoy getting creative for the holidays and for
special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers.
